Motion graphic
As a designer I'm looking back on over twelve years of experience across art direction, user experience design, frontend development, motion graphic design and branding.
This means:
- I’m no specialist — but great at connecting the dots.
- My favourite gigs are with startups — helping shape great experiences for humans online and offline.
- I keep learning new skills every month — now more than ever with High Five.

Things you should know when working with me
This is an ever growing list of quirks, learnings, and values that might help you and me should we work together:
- Perfect is the enemy of good. My preferred way of designing is to craft quickly and iterate often.
- I’m an introvert. If I’m rather quiet it means I’m thinking. I also need some time to fully open up.
- I’m hands-on. I’d rather get my hands dirty and try things out quickly instead of spending time in a day-long discovery process workshop.
- I travel often and value remote work. This means I might work at odd hours.
- In most cases I prefer IM / email / text to lengthy phone calls. Video calls are fine.
- I care about solid phrasing and formatting, and I’d like you to as well. Typos don’t bother me, but let’s aim for proper spelling, punctuation, and structure (quotes, lists, etc.) to support clarity — it helps us understand each other.
- I’m a bad salesman. You might need to ask about my design decisions. On the upside: I will not bullshit you.
- I value feedback: not only on deliverables but also on how I can improve personally and do my job better (or help you do your job better).
- Form follows function. Technology should always adapt to people, not the other way around. If you’re a developer, I might push you to craft something that might be illogical to you but more approachable by the actual user.
- There is no such thing as too much communication.
Want to work with me?
I actually do like email. Send me a friendly one with a little about what you're working on and I'll answer shortly.
I speak English, German, Polish, French and an adventurous version of Spanish. Most of the time I'm in Bern, Switzerland. I don't mind visiting you, though.
